How Sonos Went from Startup to IPO and $Billion Valuation - A Case Study for Entrepreneurs
Law360 (July 6, 2018, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Private equity- and venture-backed wireless speaker company Sonos Inc. on Friday filed a preliminary $100 million initial public offering, advised by Fenwick & West LLP, joining a wave of companies that hope to make noise in the IPO market with filings that could price this summer.
Santa Barbara, California-based Sonos did not say how many shares it plans to sell or disclose pricing terms.
Those figures are generally released before a company embarks on a marketing roadshow to pitch the IPO to investors, which can start as soon as 15 days after most IPO filings.
